How it works

We find your follower tier for the platform, take that tier's published low–high range per deliverable, multiply by the number of deliverables, then add the usage-rights premium you choose.

Formula: range = tier range × deliverables × (1 + premium%). Views and engagement are shown as context for where you may land inside the range; the sources say these factors move the rate but give no formula, so we don't invent one.

Methodology & sources

Tier ranges are the 2026 Meltwater bands as republished by SociaVault Labs (secondary source; we could not access Meltwater's original). Top tiers are open-ended ("+"). Below 500 followers no benchmark is published. Usage-rights premium is your input, not a benchmark.

Estimates only, not a guarantee of earnings. Based on published benchmarks that may not reflect your situation; actual results vary widely. Not legal, tax, or financial advice. Last checked Oct 2026.

FAQ

How much should I charge for a sponsored post?

Industry benchmarks give ranges by follower tier and platform. For example, a 2026 report citing Meltwater lists $100–$5,000 per Instagram post for 10K–100K followers. Where you land depends on views, engagement, niche, usage rights and exclusivity.

Do usage rights cost extra?

Benchmark reports say usage rights and exclusivity move rates, but they do not publish one standard percentage. This calculator lets you enter your own premium.

Is this a quote?

No. It is an estimate from published ranges, not a guarantee of what a brand will pay.
